How do I book
Choose an experience, select an available date and time, complete the required guest and villa questionnaire, and pay the 50% deposit through TiloPay. Book at least 72 hours ahead.
Is the date guaranteed
Successful payment of the required deposit confirms your online reservation. An enquiry, contact form or WhatsApp message alone does not reserve a date.
What is the deposit required
Pay the 50% deposit for your specific package online during booking. The remaining 50% is due on the service date. Total costs vary by package. Invoiced in USD.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 7 days before the service for a full refund. After that, the deposit is retained. Contact Roberto to arrange a cancellation or refund.
Can Roberto cook at my villa
Yes. Your accommodation must be in Puerto Viejo, Cocles, Playa Chiquita, Punta Uva, Manzanillo or Cahuita. Confirm host permission and provide the address, access and kitchen details in the booking questionnaire.
What kitchen tools are required
Provide a working stove, refrigeration, preparation space, running water, electricity, cookware, tableware and seating. The grill experience also requires a suitable grill and a sheltered alternative. Ask before booking if anything is missing.
Are ingredients included
Yes. The stated menu ingredients and local travel within our six service areas are included. Alcohol, premium ingredient upgrades, rentals and extra services are excluded.
Is cleanup done
Yes. Roberto cleans the kitchen work areas and equipment used for the experience. General housekeeping of your villa is not included.
Planning Your Experience
How many guests can attend?
Each fixed-price package shows its included guest count. The questionnaire enforces that limit. For a larger private group, up to 15 people, contact Roberto before booking.
Can menus be tailored
Share your preferences and dietary needs in the required questionnaire. Menus follow seasonal availability. Substantial changes or premium ingredients require an agreed quote before booking.
Are food allergies managed
Declare every allergy and intolerance in the questionnaire. Contact Roberto before booking if an allergy is severe; a shared villa kitchen cannot be assumed free from cross-contact.
What times are available?
Private dining and villa-chef services are available daily within 6 a.m.–10 p.m.; cooking classes within 8 a.m.–4 p.m. The calendar offers start times that fit the full experience. Times are local to Costa Rica, and the selected start is Roberto’s arrival.
What does each package cost?
Brunch starts at US$240 per private party; romantic dinner for two is US$360; cooking class is US$480; signature dinner US$560; grill US$520; seafood dinner US$640; villa-chef day US$780; celebration dinner US$960. Review each package’s guest count and inclusions before booking.
